John Knibbe
John became a licensed technician in the 70’s and also has an engineering diploma from SAIT from 1980. John worked as a salesman at Honda for many years before starting Knibbe Automotive with his family. John has three children and seven grandchildren. John enjoys reading, biking, and competitive games of all kinds. His heroes are C.S. Lewis and Billy Graham. John is the king of “dad jokes…”
Joe Kirk
Joe is the longest-standing service advisor after John and began working at Knibbe Automotive in 2007. Joe is a licensed technician and a born and bred Calgarian. He loves Alberta beef and cheering on the Calgary Flames with his family (his favourite player is Johnny Gaudreau). Joe’s favourite cartoon is the Thundercats and his guilty pleasure is playing video games.
Fred Armstrong
Fred became a licensed technician in 1986, and has worked as a service writer at Knibbe Automotive for five years. Originally from Regina, Fred’s favourite sports team is the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Fred loves spending time with his family which includes eight grandchildren. He also loves old cars and music; he is an excellent singer and also plays the trumpet. His weakness is vanilla cake with chocolate icing.
Shaun Erikson
Shaun has been a licensed technician since 1987. This Southern-Alberta boy was born in Coaldale Ab and has worked with cars since he was 12 years old. Shaun enjoys Nordic skiing, tennis, and gardening; has four kids; and loves everything Chevrolet (his current favourite being a diesel Chevrolet Cruze). Shaun’s guilty pleasure is local craft beer from Calgary.
Jordon Ward
Jordon is the longest-standing service writer after John and began working at Knibbe Automotive in 2006. From Vernon, B.C., Jordon is a licensed technician who enjoys photography, camping, and spending time with his family in B.C. Jordon’s favourite movie is The Shawshank Redemption, his favourite food is Pho, and his biggest fear is grizzly bears.
